Etiquette

  • For your safety, never enter and use the equipment without the instructor’s advisement.
  • If something is making you uncomfortable or producing pain, stop immediately, tell your instructor and contact your physician if needed.
  • When using the equipment practice the utmost safety techniques that you have been taught to ensure the safety of yourself and those around you.
  • All equipment and mats used must be wiped down with provided disinfecting cleaner/wipes and returned to its proper place at the end of your class/session.
  • No gum is allowed during sessions/classes.  You must discard gum upon arrival.
  • Please silence your cell phone to avoid disruptions.
  • If a class is in session upon arrival, please keep noise level to a minimum.
  • Please refrain from wearing perfume or body sprays during class.
  • Please remove your shoes upon entering.  Pilates socks/slip-resistant socks are required for all classes/sessions.
  • During class your body may be in different positions, so it is recommended to dress modestly in fitted, comfortable clothing.  Long hair should be tied back, and very loose tops should be avoided to prevent contact with the reformer springs and/or other equipment. Higher necklines and full coverage leggings are suggested due to the various positions you will find yourself in during class.  Undergarments should be worn in case of a wardrobe malfunction.  Male clients must wear fitted undergarments if loose shorts are worn.
